Al Noor Mosque

Al Noor Mosque is located in Sharjah.

The Al Noor Mosque is inspired by the Turkish Ottoman architectural designs, and it was influenced by the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Turkey. The mosque can accommodate more than 2200 visitors and worshippers; 1800 male and 400 female. The mosque was set in 2014 a Guinness World Record for being the World’s largest wooden charity box for their Ramadan Donation campaign.

The Mosque was designed by Architectural Academic Office by the general contractor United Engineering. The groundbreaking of the mosque started on the 6th of April in 2003, and the construction was completed in 2005. The mosque includes 34 domes, the height of the dome from the inside is 31.5, in addition to that are the two minarets with 52 meters height. The mosque was built of Marble, Glass fiber reinforced concrete and Gypsum.
