King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center

The King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center is designed by the International Iraqi architect, Zaha Hadid. It was developed by Aramco which is one of the largest oil companies in the world.

The total area of ​​the center is 65 thousand square meters. The total cost of constructing this great building reached 11.5 billion American Dollars. The center features a unique architectural design by the international architecture Zaha Hadid. The solar energy field was inaugurated by president of Aramco Saudi Arabia, Mr. Khalid Abd Al-Falih. The field generates 3.5 Mega Watt, in the city of Riyadh. The solar energy field extends on a total area of 55,000 square meters, the center is currently the largest solar plant connected to the electricity grid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
