Al Fateh Grand Mosque

Al Fateh Grand Mosque is one of the hugest mosques in the world. The mosque is located in Manama Bahrain.

Al Fateh Grand Mosque was constructed in 1988, the mosque was built by the late Sheikh Isa ibn Salman Al Khalifa in 1987 and was named after Ahmed Al Fateh, the founder of Bahrain. Al Fateh Mosque covers a total area of 6,500 square meters, accommodating more than 7,000 worshippers. Its length is 100 meters, its width is 75 meters. It has got two minarets and four domes, each dome is of 24 meters diameter. The hugest dome is made of fiber glass, it is considered the largest dome in the world.

 Now, the Fatih Grand Mosque accommodates the National Library of Bahrain.
