The Jaber Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital

The Jaber Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital is located in South Surra in Kuwait. It is designed and built by Langdon Wilson International from the United States of America and Gulf Consult, its contractor is the Arab Contractors (its country of origin is Egypt). The Jaber Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital costs 304 million Kuwaiti Derham that equals 5.9 billion Egyptian pounds.

 

The Jaber Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital provide 1,168 beds as well as a huge number of medical services concluding diagnostic and treatment services, a dental facility, a trauma center, in- and out-patient care services in addition to VIP suites for heads of state visits to the hospital.

 

It is built to cover an estimated area of 5 million square feet containing the main building, the dental building, the staff and doctors’ residency areas, the services and power building, the laundry, engineering workshop, medical gas building, ground water tank, a multi-floor garage under the ground, and other site works like roads, parking, greenery, pavements, fences and gates.

 

The main building covers 47,000 meter square with two basements, a ground floor and 12 floors. While the dental building covers 5000 meter square with a ground floor and a 1st storey. There is also the staff and doctors’ residency spots that cover two thousand meter square with a ground floor and 3 floors. And there is the multi floor garage including 3 floors under the ground that can hold seven thousand cars.
